Teaching and Learning Methods
The study programme starts in autumn 2008 with Module I. Module II will start in autumn 2009; it is possible for new students to register without having completed the first module.
The study programme is structured so that it will be possible to combine study with a full-time job. It is based on a combination of teaching, supervision, self-study and solution of assignments. The core of the programme is two 1-week workshops per semester with two introductory days in the first semester linked to the first workshop. The web-based learning platform Classfronter will be a vital tool in teaching; this will also facilitate contact between programme coordinators, lecturers and participants between the workshop sessions. It is therefore essential that students have access to Internet and e-mail.
Syllabus
The syllabus comprises 5000 pages; 600 pages are self-chosen and related to the assignment in blocks I and II.
Assessment Methods
Written group assignment in the autumn semester, which counts 20%, 5-hour individual examination in syllabus-related theory in the spring semester, which counts 20%. Final written individual assignment that counts 60%. Use of letter grades, where A to E represent passing marks, F a failing mark. All assignments must receive passing grades to obtain a passing grade for the course.
