Course Description

SQL and the relational model, data-oriented system development (data modelling) with E/R, realisation of E/R models as relational databases, normalisation theory, application development, database administration, the structure and function of database management systems, transactions.

Assessment Methods

Continuous assessment (40%) and final written examination (60%).

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
