Cybernetics - Mechanical Engineering MA4109
Course Description
The course is divided into the following topics:
Logic and function elements, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers). Relevant topics in practical control engineering that have not been covered in Cybernetics Basic Course.
Measurement Technology: Basic principles, equipment and practical applications for measuring strain, pressure, temperature, mass-volume flow, level and speed, and other relevant measurement variables. Technical flowchart and instrumentation form.
Electrical-/electronic engineering technology: Basic electrical terms, AC-/DC circuits, devices and symbols. Application of electronic components in conection with measuring technology.
Assessment Methods
Individual written final examination counts 100% of the final grade.
