Drama, fordypning
Introduction
The study programme aims to provide insight into drama teaching in kindergartens and primary schools to stimulate children’s aesthetic development and their ability to express themselves in dramatic forms.
Knowledge of play, dance, theatre and pedagogy constitute the basis of the subject, drama. The study programme focuses on how children’s play and theatre art may be combined in drama pedagogy.
The study programme provides students with specialisation in selected forms of work and expression in the area of drama education with children, as well as experience with their own dramatic production.
The students’ own development in practical and methodological work will be especially emphasised.
Target Group and Admission Requirements
The programme is primarily intended for students taking the 3-year pre-school teacher education study programme, and secondarily for post-graduate students.
