Learning outcome
Students will acquire knowledge of business processes, the importance of good planning based on the collection and interpretation of basic data, customer needs, competitive situations and trends. They will gain skills to obtain relevant information about competitors, customers and the market, and how we can process such information to create change and growth in our industry. In addition, they acquire skills and general expertise in business creation, organization, and work with change and innovation processes in businesses.
Students will after completing the course also have: extensive knowledge of and be able to interpret the rules for the creation of enterprises.
- good knowledge of the choice of organizational forms and the consequences of the choice you have.
- gained a good knowledge of the key challenges associated with the evaluation and planning of new and further development of existing commercial development tasks.
Course Description
The course provides knowledge about processes in the development and modification phase in existing and newly established businesses. The course has a strong focus on research work and analysis relating to business development, where decisions and decision making in new and existing operations are important for the degree of success the establishment or development of existing enterprises.
Central to the course is group work on real cases and projects focusing on:
- Identification and definition of probelmstilling
- Study Work and analyzes related to business development
- Decisions and decision-making in new and existing business
- Presentations and presentation skills
Teaching and Learning Methods
3-5 hours per week during the spring semester, lectures and guidance.
Team work with specific developmental tasks (custom programs).
Assessment Methods
mandatory milestones, in the form of submissions and presentations.
Graded based on:
Portfolio assessment will consist of an overall group assignment with delinnleveringer and presentations and oral examinations, where the evaluation also takes place individually plan
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
