International Marketing - Work Experience 5414

Learning outcome

After completing the subject the candidate should have the following learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills and competence:

  • Have worked with practical issues in international marketing.
  • Understand how the company operates through knowledge of strategy, goals and daily operations.
  • Have the skills to take care of various tasks at the company

Course Description

The work will be varied and suited to the competence of the student. During the work-experience period, the student will investigate a topic. After receiving approval for the topic chosen, the trainee will write a final report.

Teaching and Learning Methods

Students are responsible for obtaining suitable internship themselves, and it must be approved by the university college. There will be no regular teaching, but the company undertakes to provide regular supervision and tutoring during the internship. Students will be in close contact with the tutor at Telemark University College during their stay.

Assessment Methods

Internship completed on schedule and according to plan with the final report is the basis for evaluation. Pass / Fail.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
