Course Description

  • Psychological theories of human development, perception, emotion, motivation, learning, memory and loss of memory
  • Sociological concepts and theories about how people interact with their environment
  • Socio-anthropological concepts and theories about how people interact with their environment
  • The legal framework for the municipal health services
  • The legal framework for nursing practice
  • The welfare state’s development and framework
  • The organization of community care
  • Social factors that affect living conditions and create health problems
  • Public health, with a focus on prevention and health promotion

Teaching and Learning Methods

Subject literature studies, digital learning resources, resource lectures and work in learning groups. Guidance in learning groups and seminars. Project: 6 weeks’ duration.

Assessment Methods

Group project assignment. Assessed with a grade.
