Learning outcome

After successfully completing the course, the candidate will have achieved the following learning outcomes:

The candidate has knowledge of:

  • Basic company law, especially concerning partnerships and limited companies
  • The key regulations concerning good faith acquisitions and defeating creditors concerning the sale of movable and immovable property
  • The basic regulations concerning collateral, including mortgages and bail
  • Principal legislation concerning financial crime
  • The main regulations regarding debt settlement proceedings and bankruptcy

Course Description

The course includes mortgage law and legal protection regulations, property law and good faith acquisition, insolvency law and bankruptcy, financial crime and company Law.

Teaching and Learning Methods

4 hours tuition per week in the autumn semester. The tuition is given partly together with 5353 Accountancy Law Exam.

Assessment Methods

The course includes compulsory submission of two assignments which must be approved before students will be permitted to sit the examination. Written final examination, 6 hours.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
