Learning outcome

After successfully completing the course, the candidate will have achieved the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence.

The candidate:

  • Understands the importance of the research question when carrying out a study
  • Can formulate different study designs
  • Can analyse qualitative and quantitative data
  • Understands the limitations of knowledge and range in social reality
  • Can avoid level fallacies

Course Description

The course includes:

  • Methodological reflection
  • Intensive studies using qualitative information
  • Extensive studies using quantitative information

Teaching and Learning Methods

Lectures, group work, plenary discussions. Solving old exam questions.

Assessment Methods

Written 4-hour examination.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
