Learning outcome

After successfully completing the course, the candidate will have achieved the following learning outcomes:

Knowledge

The candidate has knowledge of:

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge about basic training
  • Training in relation to basic physical, coordinative, social and psychological characteristics

Skills

The candidate can:

  • Demonstrate and apply skills and guidance of general and specific basic training
  • Plan, execute and evaluate training that takes into consideration physical, coordinative, social and psychological characteristics

Course Description

5 ECTS, 2nd year of study

The basic training will focus on concepts such as stability, core muscles and coordination, as well as further development in relation to the basic characteristics. The course will review a wide range of exercises and training methods related to the training of various basic skills in different environments and contexts.

Teaching and Learning Methods

5 ECTS, 2nd year of study

The target area will be organised through both theory and practice. The following teaching and learning methods will be used:

  • Problem-based and discovery-learning
  • Teacher-led teaching
  • Student-led teaching
  • Teamwork
  • Guidance

The students are responsible for their own learning; through their own initiative, they will be able to seek knowledge through subject literature and articles, fellow students and guidance.

Assessment Methods

5 ECTS, 2nd year of study

  • Minimum of 80% attendance
  • Completed obligatory courses / assignments (see the semester plan)
  • 2-hour written examination

A final grade is entered on the diploma, graded from A to F, where A is the best and E the lowest passing grade. Each course unit must receive a passing grade in order for the student to receive a passing grade for the major course unit.
