Course Objectives
The course will provide students with a theoretical introduction to information technology and a practical introduction to the use of computer equipment and software. In addition, students will develop a critical attitude towards data security and the ethical aspects of IT.
Course Description
Office-support systems with a focus on the use of spreadsheet models, spreadsheet programming, hardware, the organisation and information system, Internet, data security, legal framework.
Learning Methods
6 hours of lectures/exercises/guidance per week during the autumn semester.
Assessment Methods
An individual written 2-hour, mid-term examination counts for 40 % of the grade. A 3-hour individual final written examination counts for 60 % of the final grade. Students must receive passing grades on all of the assessments.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
