Law for Estate Agents II 5252

Course Objectives

The course will provide students with an introduction to judicial practice, general private law and selected public law topics and questions. The introduction will provide students with insight into the general legal framework for carrying out private and public activities. Students will also be provided with a sound knowledge of the legal rules which are of special importance for the practice of business activities. This concerns the legal rules which are of importance for the internal organisation of activities, and rules for the business’s relations with its customers, creditors and the public authorities.

Course Description

The course includes Law of Mortgages and Pledges and legal protection laws, insolvency law, financial relations between spouses, business crime, company law and public law.

Learning Methods

6-8 hours of lectures weekly in the autumn semester. This course is a continuation of 5251 Law for Estate Agents I. The course concludes with an examination in the third semester. The instruction will be held concurrently with Law Accountancy Exam 5353.

Assessment Methods

There are two obligatory assignments which must be approved before students will be permitted to sit the examination. Written examination, 6 hours.
