The Entrepreneur and Society 6057
Course Objectives
Students will gain knowledge of entrepreneurship as a phenomenon, and the role of entrepreneurship in the development of society.
Course Description
The entrepreneur. The entrepreneur and networks. The Intrapreneur. Brief historical account. Theories of entrepreneurship. Research and research results. Policies for entrepreneurship. Case studies.
Learning Methods
2-3 lectures per week in the spring semester. Group work. Mini-seminars.
Assessment Methods
Group assignment counts for 50%, and individual written 3 hours examination counts for 50% of the final grade. Students must achieve passing marks in each part of the assessment in order to earn a final pass mark for the course.
