Course Objectives

Product Development will provide students with skills in using specific tools in developing an identified need into a finished product concept. The course combines methodology and creativity, and students will work in groups on a specific project. The aim is that after having completed the course students will have learnt how to use the appropriate methodology in developing an idea (need) into a product; they will have gained valuable experience in the development of an idea either in their own businesses or as an employee.

Course Description

The material is taken from the topic market-oriented product development.

Learning Methods

4-6 hours lectures in the autumn semester.

Assessment Methods

Portfolio assessment, which will consist of a group assignment and individual assessment.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
