Course Objectives
To be able to design and analyze model-based control systems.
Course Description
Discrete-time models of dynamic systems. Estimation of models from logged data (time-series). Model-based tuning of PID controllers. Using state-estimators (softsensors) for control. Model-based Predictive Control (MPC)

Lectures. Self-study. PC-based assignments. Projects (lab/simulation)
Assessment Methods
Project/Laboratory 40%.
Individual final exam 60%.
