The course will provide students with practice in formulating a fairly extensive independent academic presentation of a chosen area of interest within the field of business administration.

Course Description

The task of writing a Bachelor’s thesis is an alternative for those students who wish to investigate a particular subject area in greater detail through writing a paper on the subject. All topics related to the the field of business administration are of potential interest, such as: business management, economics, organisation and marketing etc. The students work independently, under the supervision of a teacher. The Bachelor’s thesis may be a written presentation of a subject area based on the study of the relevant subject literature. It may also be presented as a quantitative study of available data in combination with a theoretical analysis.

Learning Methods

Guidance from the subject teacher while following a planned programme. Otherwise, the study will consist of independent work on the part of the student.

Assessment Methods

The Bachelor’s thesis will be submitted for assessment as an examination assignment. Grades will be given.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
