Course Objectives
Students will acquire knowledge of methods and techniques for generating, structuring, basic analysis and presentation of digital geographical data.
Course Description
Reference systems, transformations, geometry models, software and equipment, data collection methods, data exchange, basic analysis, presentation and quality control.
Learning Methods
6-8 hours lectures/exercises per week during the autumn semester.
Assessment Methods
Compulsory assignments must be submitted and receive passing marks before students will be allowed to take the final examination. Final written examination, 4 hours.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
