Course Objectives

The course will provide students with knowledge and experience of how present-day technology enables various types of media to be integrated. It will also provide basic knowledge of techniques, standards and areas of use.

Course Description

Theory and practice concerning the use of texts, graphics, images, sound, animation and video. Various kinds of equipment and techniques for capturing images, transforming, storing and presenting various media. Integration and distribution on the Internet. Practice is based on the use of multimedia tools.

Learning Methods

6-7 hours of lectures and practice per week in the autumn semester.

Assessment Methods

5-hour, individual, written examination. Obligatory assignments must be approved before students will be permitted to sit the examination.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
