Electric Circuits and Dynamic Systems SCE1406
Course Objectives
Learn basic systems theory of dynamic systems and electrical systems.
Course Description
Systems theory for dynamic systems. Basic theory of electric circuits. Electronic amplifiers. Basic mathematical modeling of physical processes. State-space models. Transfer function models. Block diagram representations of mathematical models. Time responses. Frequency responses. Poles and zeros. Stability. Simulations.
Learning Methods
Intensive lecturing the week before semester start, mixed with exercises. Laboratory work to be accomplished at Telemark University College during the normal Fall term.
Assessment Methods
The final test counts 70% and the laboratory assignment counts 30% in the final grade. Both parts must be passed to get a passing grade for the course.
