Course 4. Master’s Thesis Project

The student will prepare and submit an independent Master’s degree thesis of not more than 100 pages. If two students work together the thesis should not exceed 140 pages. This limit may be exceeded by a maximum of 10%.

A preliminary grade will be assigned for the thesis until the student is called upon to defend his/her work in the oral examination. The thesis must be assessed as passed before students may take the oral examination. The oral examination will form the basis for a possible adjustment of the thesis grade. The oral examination must be assessed as passed in order to adjust the thesis grade.

A combined grade for the Master’s thesis and oral defence will be given on a scale from A-F.

The title of the thesis and the grade will be recorded on the diploma.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
