Norwegian Language: Intermediate Level 2601
Course Description
This intermediate language course is aimed at students with a basic knowledge of the Norwegian language. The course develops the students’ basic knowledge of Norwegian grammar and pronunciation and their oral and written comprehension. It will also stimulate natural and spontaneous conversation. Students will expand their vocabulary and develop their language structures while exploring the local community culture. Conversation and composition topics will relate to present-day Norway, historical events and current issues discussed in the media.
Assessment Methods
Weekly homework assignments, pass/fail; two semester tests counting 40 % and a final written/oral examination counting 60%. All of the assessed elements must receive passing marks in order to pass the course.
