Course Description

The course covers topics such as:

• Exchange Rates and the Monetary System

• Parity Relationships in International Finance.

• International Financial Markets.

• Foreign Exchange Risks and Exposure.

• Capital Structure for the MNC, and Comparative Capital

• International Capital Budgeting

• Portfolio Theory and International Diversification

• Foreign Direct Investments and Cross-Border Acquisitions.

Assessment Methods

Essay (30%).

Written individual exam, 4 hours (70%).
