Course Description
The course focuses on didactics in relation to education and curricula and their various forms of practice. Didactics is a principal subject in contexts concerning systematic training, whether in nurseries or schools, an educational workshop or an organisation. It serves as a tool both for planned system development and critical reflection. It is closely related to practical contexts, but also requires a willingness to formulate visions and plans for practices that have not yet been formulated or tested. Education concerns models and values that we choose to follow as individuals, groups and communities, and the enthusiasm we infuse in realising these values.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Lectures, seminars, group work and counselling.
Assessment Methods
Two assignments must be approved before the student will be permitted to sit the examination. The examination is a presentation portfolio with graded marks, which counts for 100 percent of the course grade.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
