  • Complete a professional development project using scientific methods
  • Apply ethical principles in professional development work
  • Integrate knowledge from the study programme’s different areas of knowledge in the discussion of a nursing-related topic

Course Description

  • Research and development in nursing
  • Application of scientific methods
  • Research ethics
  • The application of scientific knowledge
  • Application of concepts, theories and nursing theoretical perspectives
  • Dissemination and evaluation of academic and scientific knowledge

Teaching and Learning Methods

Subject literature studies, digital learning resources, resource lectures and learning groups. Supervision for groups and in seminars.

4 weeks of clinical specialization studies related to the Bachelor’s thesis.

Assessment Methods

Bachelor’s thesis (written individually). Assessed with a grade.
