- Seek, evaluate and apply scientific knowledge in a professional development project
- Present and discuss his/her own and others’ professional development work

The candidate can:
- Complete a professional development project using scientific methods
- Apply ethical principles in professional development work
- Integrate knowledge from the study programme’s different areas of knowledge in the discussion of a nursing-related topic
Course Description
- Research and development in nursing
- Application of scientific methods
- Research ethics
- The application of scientific knowledge
- Application of concepts, theories and nursing theoretical perspectives
- Dissemination and evaluation of academic and scientific knowledge
Teaching and Learning Methods
Subject literature studies, digital learning resources, resource lectures and learning groups. Supervision for groups and in seminars.
4 weeks of clinical specialization studies related to the Bachelor’s thesis.
Assessment Methods
Bachelor’s thesis (written individually). Assessed with a grade.
