- Organization and functionality of Internet and the web
- Planning websites
- Standards
- HTML and CSS
- Using and customizing a content management system (CMS)
- Basic image editing
- Models for analyzing usability of websites
Teaching and Learning Methods
Online study, with no requirement for participation at scheduled times. Students are expected to put down 8-10 hours of work per. weeks. Students must have access to computer equipment as specified in the study program. Digital learning resources will be published online, and students are free to use the material for study when they want to. Guidance and problem solving will by done by e-mail, in online discussion groups and online meetings. Small projects will be given and to be solved in groups using net-based communication.
Assessment Methods
A projecttask with groupevaluation (40%), and a 4-hour individual written examination (60%). Both must be past to receive a final grade. A number of obligatory assignments submitted during the course must be approved before the student will be permitted to sit the examination.
