Course Description
The course addresses the special characteristics of the cultural project management and management processes, from an initial concept through the various stages of planning, implementation and evaluation. The course focuses on management skills in general, with a particular emphasis on their application to cultural projects. Students will also learn to use management tools to keep track of budgets and financing. The course also introduces students to selected theories of particular relevance to cultural project management, as well as to contract negotiation and relevant legal considerations.

Lectures, seminars and group work.
Assessment Methods
Individual written midterm examination without invigilation counts 40%. Graded A- F, where F represents a failing mark.
Individual final written examination in the form of a project description of a cultural project that comprises between 3000 - 4000 words 60%. Graded A- F.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
