Assessment Methods

Each assessment will test the extent to which the individual has achieved learning outcomes in terms of knowledge and skills. The assessment consists of two examinations:

Final examination General Chemistry (50%).

Final examination Organic Chemistry (50%).

Passing grades must be achieved in both examinations in order to receive a passing grade for the course.

Students must submit obligatory assignments in the general chemistry component. All obligatory assignments must have been approved before students will be allowed to sit the examination in general chemistry.

Students must submit obligatory assignments and tests in the organic chemistry component. All obligatory assignments must have been approved before students will be allowed to sit the examination in general chemistry.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
