1036 Practice with Report

Course Objectives

The practice period will provide students with an opportunity to apply the knowledge, skills, theories, methods and models which they have acquired through their studies. The aim is that students will find this work to be relevant and meaningful. It is therefore important that they begin already in the autumn semester to consider carefully what they intend to do during this period in January.

Course Description

The practice period shall be used for independent work with a concrete and limited project or a task which can be carried out in four to five weeks. The practice placement and theme/task must be approved by the university college in advance. The practice period is in January.

Assessment Methods

Autumn semester: Submission of two portfolio assignments: description of the practice project contract.
Spring semester: Submission of the practice report.
Grade: Pass/fail.
All portfolio assignments must be submitted and assessed with a passing mark by the course teacher in order to achieve a passing mark for the course.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
