2580 Specialisation Course in MA Cultural Studies
Learning Methods
In particular cases students may choose a different specialisation course than those specified in the programme of study, especially when the choice of course is relevant to the student’s Master’s Thesis. The content and syllabus of the specialisation course must be approved by the department before the start of the semester. The specialisation course must be chosen from the field of ‘cultural studies’, as defined in the programme of study, provided the department possesses academic competence in the chosen subject. Students may not expect, however, that special teaching will be provided in the subject.
Assessment Methods
Presentation by the students during the course of the semester. Trial lecture by the student at the end of the course or oral examination, see under Examination and Assessment. Specialisation courses chosen by the student are always assessed by oral examination.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
