Course Objectives

Students will complete an independent dissertation in which they demonstrate their ability to think scientifically.

Course Description

The student will, in consultation with their supervisor, formulate a problem related to the topics in the BA programme Text, Communication and Culture.

Learning Methods

The work on the Bachelor’s thesis is related to the writing course and the course on methodology which are taught during the same semester. Each student is entitled to four hours of supervision, and each student must have at least two hours of supervision in order to submit the thesis for assessment.

Assessment Methods

Written semester thesis. The thesis should be 20-25 pages in length. Graded mark.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
