Module 5
Organisation and Exercise of Health and Social Services 10 ECTS
Focus and aim
The focus of this module concerns the current and future organisation of health and social services for the elderly. The intention is that students will strengthen their skills in synchronising and coordinating, planning and implementing health and social services that contribute to improved quality of life for the needy and the frail elderly.
Module 6
Development of Quality, 5 ECTS
Focus and aim
This module focuses on the different aspects of quality and quality improvement in practice. The intention is that students will acquire the expertise to assess and apply tools and methods that maintain and enhance the quality of services for the elderly.
Module7
Exercise of Health and Social Services, 15 ECTS
Focus and aim
In this module the focus is on the exercise of health and social services that contribute to quality of life for the needy and the frail elderly. The intention is that students will gain additional insight into the importance of user interaction, and collaboration across sectors, professions and levels within the health services.

Module 567: Organisation and Exercise of Health and Social Services for the Elderly - 30 ECTS
In the autumn and spring semesters in the second year of study, students will complete a specialised assignment related to the chosen specialisation area of the study programme. The specialisation assignment constitutes the study programme’s final examination. It will comprise approximately 10,000 words + / - 10%, and be assigned a letter grade.
