Specialization Discipline 1007

Course Objectives

Students will gain understanding and practice in selected disciplines. The course aims at providing students with:

  • Specific skills and understanding of technical and tactical elements
  • Increased knowledge and understanding of skills development
  • Knowledge and experience in facilitating, organizing, teaching and tutoring at different levels
  • Insight into the sport’s standards, qualities and rules

Course Description

Students will choose one of the following disciplines:
• Football
• Volleyball
• Cross country skiing
• General and exercise activities

Learning Methods

A total of 100 practical hours during the course of the year.

Assessment Methods

• Group submission of an academic article. Graded marks. Weighted: 100%.
• At least 80% attendance and active participation required, graded pass /fail.
• Completed and passed scientific - methodical plan.

All parts of the assessment must be approved and receive passing marks before the student can receive a final course grade. .

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
