Practical Estate Agency III 6036
Course Objectives
This course is based on the 6033 Practical Estate Agency and 6034 Practical Estate Agency II. Students who complete the course will be able to conduct various forms of real estate transactions and manage document processing relating to these transactions. They will also be able to ensure the quality of the transactions and the agency's service.
Course Description
The course will provide an introduction to the relevant laws concerning the organisation of an estate agency. Quality of the broker service will be discussed. The course will also focus on the relationship to the public authorities, for instance, the Financial Supervisory Authority, consumer authorities and the Complaints Board for real estate services. The course will review compulsory sales with an assistant. It will also review the estate agent’s responsibility and the relevant sanctions. Furthermore, the Alienation Act and the Housing Construction Act will be reviewed with a focus on practical professional life.
Learning Methods
4-6 hours of lectures per week in the spring semester. Students will have the opportunity to submit an assignment (not obligatory).
Assessment Methods
5-hour written individual examination.
