Learning Methods

5 ECTS credits, 2nd year

The courses will mainly focus on practical training. The number of hours of theory instruction will vary depending on which course the student has chosen. To a great extent, the theoretical part of the instruction will be integrated into the practical training.

For each individual activity, the groups will be comprised of a small number of students, which will provide the opportunity for more guidance and feedback to each student. In addition, students will largely be given tasks that require awareness in relation to the supervisor’s role. For instance, this may involve planning and implementing lessons and evaluating other students.

Teaching and learning methods will include:

  • problem-based learning
  • group work
  • individual work
  • instruction
  • guidance

In addition to lectures, students will be able to focus on individual training. This requires a high degree of commitment and initiative from each student. It is expected that students take responsibility for their own learning and seek guidance from the teacher and fellow students.
