Assessment Methods

Continuous assessment:
4 tests during the year count roughly 50% of the final grade. 2 tests in the fall semester.
Submission assignments count for roughly 10% of the final grade.

Final examination:
5-hour final examination counts 40% of the final course grade.
The examination paper is provided centrally.
The tests and examination are obligatory.
You have to achieve a passing grade at least for the second test from the fall semester to be allowed to participate in the lessons for the spring semester.
In order to achieve a passing grade for the course at least 3 of the tests taken during the course of the year must receive passing marks, or the final examination must receive a passing mark.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
