Course Description
- Review of basic English grammar
- Specialized business vocabulary
- Perspectives on communication

Teaching and Learning Methods
Instruction is given in the autumn and spring semesters. Lectures, group work, individual at-home preparation of obligatory written assignment, oral presentations, report writing, case studies and discussions.
Assessment Methods
Autumn semester: Portfolio with grade, which includes 4-5 written assignments (10%). Oral examination with presentation and discussion of the curriculum (40%). The autumn evaluation accounts for 50% of the final grade. Spring semester: Portfolio with grade, which includes 4-6 written assignments (10%). Written examination, 3 hours (40%). The grade for the spring course counts for 50% of the final grade. Students must receive passing grades for all assignments and examinations in order to be awarded a final passing grade for the course.
