Learning outcome
After successfully completing the course, the candidate will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
The candidate:
- Has gained an overview of the relevant real estate theory, see syllabus reading lists.
- Has gained an overview of the real estate broker’s role, duties and responsibilities that are covered in relation to the topics dealt with in this course.
- Is able to apply the skills gained regarding tasks and responsibilities in relation to customers, the public and the public authorities in accordance with the current regulations for real estate brokerage.
- Is able to undertake and complete a sale of properties in the categories: agricultural properties, property projects.
- Is able to fill out the documents required regarding the sale of agricultural properties and property projects.
- Is able to explain the difference between residential brokerage and commercial brokerage.
- Is able to apply basic knowledge of building construction theory and then carry out the valuation of a property.
- Is able to apply the regulations regarding sectioning and apply for the registration of the sectioning of a property into individual units.
- Is able to assess what best broking practices and ethics involves in the exercise of real estate brokerage.
- Is able to complete an authorization process.

Teaching and Learning Methods
4-6 hours of lectures per week during the spring semester.
Exercises.
Written group assignment submission (not compulsory).
Assessment Methods
Written examination, 5 hours, which counts 100%.
