Course Objectives

Alternating current (AC) theory and proficiency in handling AC problems. Basic knowledge about and skill in the use of computer-aided drafting programs (CAD).

Course Description

Different conditions of single phase, and symmetrical/asymmetrical three phase networks. Use AutoCAD to create 2D drawings and learn the basics off 3D drawing with AutoCAD/MagiCAD.

Learning Methods

Lectures, exercises, mandatory work in electrical and CAD laboratories.

Assessment Methods

Under way exams and tests (30 %), final exam (70 %). To pass the subject the final exam has to be passed.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
