Course Objectives

Skills in analyses and syntheses of electronic circuitry containing frequency dependent components. Also, basic knowledge about analysis and construction of small signal and power amplifiers. Be able to plan, construct and build a prototype laboratory power supply.

Course Description

Small signal amplifiers at intermediate frequencies. Frequency response for AC coupled amplifiers. Feedback coupled amplifiers, power amplifiers and tuned amplifiers. The planning, construction and building of a prototype laboratory power supply.

Assessment Methods

Under way exams and tests (25 %), project (35 %), and final exam (40 %).
