Course Objectives

Acquire knowledge of the structure, analysis and construction of digital systems and components used in these systems.

Course Description

2 ECTS – Boolean algebra

Combinatorics, bi-stable circuits, circuit families, analogue-digital/digital-analogue conversion, sequential circuits, numerators, shift registers, memories, multiplexers (MUX) and demultiplexers (DMUX).

Learning Methods

Lectures, laboratory group work, exercises.

Assessment Methods

30% continuous assessment, 70% written final examination.
