Course Objectives

To give students knowledge about practical industrial process automation.

Course Description

Principles and methods of automation of industrial continuous processes and batch processes; Safety; Documentation; Simulation.

Learning Methods

Lectures. Exercises. Excursion. Projects (in students groups).

Assessment Methods

Compulsory excursion. A number of group projects which counts totally 40% and a final written exam counts 60% in the final grade. Both the projects and the exam must be passed to get a passing final grade.
