Operations Analysis 6063

Course Objectives

Operations Analysis is a common term for mathematically based techniques for optimal decision-making e.g. in enterprises, and in consequence analysis. Students will become acquainted with and develop the ability to exploit these techniques.

Course Description

Linear programming, inventory models and storage control, queue theory, simulation and an analysis of stochastic decision-making processes.

Learning Methods

3-4 lectures per week in the spring semester.

Assessment Methods

Submission of 1-2 assignments which must receive passing marks. Written examination, 4 hours.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
