Introduction to Economics 6042

Course Objectives

The course will provide basic knowledge in economics. The primary target group are students pursuing 3-year Bachelor degrees in Tourism Management, International Marketing and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Course Description

The course includes:

  • Basic cost and income theory
  • Calculations
  • Accounting and accounting analysis
  • Budgeting
  • Investment Analysis
  • Market Methods

Learning Methods

6-8 hours of lectures per week during the spring semester.

Assessment Methods

2-3 obligatory assignments (pass / fail). Final 5-hour written examination. All parts of the assessment must gain passing marks.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
