Cybernetics – Advanced EE4107
Course Objectives
Students will learn how to analyze dynamic systems and control systems. They will also acquire knowledge about programming tools for analysis and simulation of dynamic systems and feedback control systems, and PC-based and PLC-based measurement and control.
Course Description
Block diagram, standard tranfer function and dynamic, state-space model, frequency response, stability analysis of feedback systems (Bod) and discretization of differential equation.
Implementation of control system by the aid of PC(LabView / mathscript) and PLC (Simatic Step 7). Project work.
Learning Methods
Lectures. Self-study. Calculation exercises. PC- and PLC-based exercises. Project assignment.
Assessment Methods
Individual written final examination counts 50% of the final grade.
