Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with insight into contemporary knowledge, modern history and international economic development. The course will also illustrate the interrelation with the other courses in the programme.
Course Description
Newspapers and other types of media will be used on the course as a source of contemporary knowledge and international politics.

3-4 hours of lectures during the autumn semester.
Assessment Methods
An examination lecture counts 50% of the final grade. Candidates will be asked questions regarding the subject of the lecture. Attendance of the examination lectures is mandatory. A 3-hour written examination counts 50% of the final grade. Both parts of the assessment must receive passing marks in order to receive a final course grade.
