Art in Nature II ARTNAT 2
Course Description
Students will create snow houses, sculptures and “fire-works” in site-specific performances or installations. The processes, work and presentations will take place at a nearby lake or in the mountains of Telemark. These areas are the starting point for developing student experiences. The final results/artists’ work will be documented through a combination of photographs paired with philosophical writings. The content involves a cultural dimension and rich symbolism.
Assessment Methods
The grade for the course will be based on portfolio assessment. The final assessment will be made after all obligatory requirements have been satisfactorily completed.
A single final grade is recorded on the diploma, graded from A to F, where A is the highest grade, and E is the lowest passing grade. Students must receive a passing mark in each course in order to receive a passing grade for the study programme.
Please refer to the examination regulations of Telemark University College for additional information.
Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
