Course Description

Information technology’s role in organizations. Trends, concepts and technology. Development and implementation of IT strategies and plans. Administration, planning and management of organizations’ IT solutions. Management of development and change processes. Interaction between technology, people and organizations in software development and organizational development. IT and legal aspects, contracts, ethics and norms. Information management. Information systems and the role of resources in organizations’ information processing. Information management, quality assurance and protection of privacy.

Assessment Methods

Obligatory assignments submitted during the course must be approved before the student will be permitted to sit the final 4-hour written examination.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
