Learning outcome

Students will after the course gain:

• basic theoretical knowledge and practical application of, basic methods of planning projects and monitoring of project progress, resource usage and performance.

• good knowledge of the use of computer tools for project planning and monitoring.

• good knowledge of the plan, change and development in companies.

Course Description

Work with real cases and development projects, with particular focus on:

• Planning of commercial development

• Stated goals

• Methods for time-and resource planning

• Methods of documentation of completion, progress and resource use

• Business-related processes of change phases

Cases / projects will vary from year to year.

Teaching and Learning Methods

Students attend the course 5906 Project (5 credits) who have 2-4 hours of lectures and exercises per weekand teamwork and milestone presentations.

There will be some small workshops on the development of ideas and case exercises in addition to the 5906 course.

Assessment Methods

Group assessment based on the following:

Submitted mandatory assignment (s) that accounts for 50% and 3-hour individual exam that counts 50%. The course start will be issued a certain number of mandatory tasks that must be approved before they can sit for the final examination. All exams must be passed.

Minor adjustments may occur during the academic year, subject to the decision of the Dean
