  • An understanding of the legal regulation of user-involvement, voluntary choice and the use of force

Course Description

The content of the course is based on the national curriculum’s requirements regarding the distribution of credits, which function as a guideline for the clarification of the course plan.

General Pedagogy and Social Pedagogy - 2 ECTS; Nursing and Care - 5 ECTS; Skills and Behavioural Learning - 5 ECTS; Welfare Work - 2 ECTS; Communication, Interaction and Conflict Resolution - 2 ECTS.

Teaching and Learning Methods

Self-study, group work, practical training, written and oral presentations and guidance. The practical training studies are guided by 1 hour of supervision per student per week at the practical training location, and they will be followed up individually and in reflection groups by the college teacher.

Assessment Methods

Course code: 060-E5: Social Education Work – assessment assignment

The assessment assignment is based on the practical training studies in social education work. Individual written assignment (3000 words); Pass / Fail.
There may be as many as four required items of coursework; one of these is the approval of the practical training studies. The course requirements must be approved before the completion of the course can be approved. The course requirements are described in the course plan.
