Learning outcome

After successfully completing the course, the candidate will have achieved the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence.

Knowledge

The candidate has knowledge of:

  • Developing ideas, business accounting and costing
  • Establishing a business, board roles, business organization and auditor requirements

Skills

The candidate is able to:

  • Develop a business idea, conduct market research and acquire start-up capital
  • Establish and register a business
  • Prepare a business plan
  • Develop a product or a technical service
  • Market the service or product

General competence

The candidate can:

  • Establish networks and find partners
  • Organize tasks and work together with other students to carry out a project
  • Describe the work done through a report and oral presentation
  • Understand the interdisciplinary connections between the economy, society and technology

Course Description

The learning outcomes will be ensured through a combination of seminars, lectures, group work and regular meetings with a supervisor.

Assessment Methods

The basis for the overall assessment includes developing a business, reports, websites, presentations and oral examinations.

Individual grades will be awarded (A-F).
